Private Voice Lessons

DETAILS:

    Private Lessons are available to anyone from beginner to professional,  age 12 and older.  Lessons are taught at my home studio in Nashville, Tennessee and one weekend a month in Atlanta, Georgia.  Students bring music on CD (Karaoke) for their lessons.  Under certain circumstances, students may use their original material or can accompany themselves on guitar.  I work with all genres of contemporary music including, but not limited to rock, pop, r&b, and country.  I do not teach classical voice, nor are my lessons formal.  I use a Pro Tools rig to record my students for learning purposes only, NOT for demos.   Often there is a good deal of music business information that gets tossed into my lessons as well.  The emphasis is that the lessons are tailor-made to each student according to their needs, wants and goals. 

     Lessons are scheduled by the hour and half hour.  Evaluations take  an hour and are required for individual lessons.  The purpose for an Evaluation is to establish your personalized lesson plan.  The Evaluation is partly question and answer, and partly having the student do several exercises a cappella (without accompaniment).  After evaluating your skills and musical background I will tell you about your strengths and weaknesses and suggest a lesson plan that is right for you.

RATE INFO:

   The fee for lessons is $75/ hour.  With a valid id, college students get $15 off every other hour booked starting with your second hour.  Also, I am willing to schedule half hours at a fee of $40 with no discount.  However, the first hour is still required at $75.

    Debit cards, credit cards and checks are accepted via PayPal only, or cash otherwise.

     I offer intensive Lessons for those who live outside Nashville, travel frequently or have a project coming up very soon and need my assistance.   An intensive is four hours back to back, in one day (with a 15 minute break after 2 hours).  Your own personal workshop! 

    The rate is $275. This rate is ONLY available for the intensive and is NOT available for individual hours scheduled.
